InterVarsity Press is a division of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a member of International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (hence, somehow FES and IVP are still related structurally). It is dedicated to serving the university, the church and the world, and its publishing divisions are as follow:
(anything in quote is taken from IVP website contents)
1. IVP Academic
“IVP Academic books aim to provide the university community with the very best of evangelical scholarship through books that start, shape, synthesize and summarize academic dialogue. These books are evangelical in heritage, biblical in allegiance, classical in orthodoxy and ecumenical in spirit. We publish over a wide array of academic disciplines, reaching readers ranging from professors and researchers to students and lifelong learners.”

3. IVP Books
‘General’ books from IVP, with two sub-divisions (anything that didn’t go under these sub-divisions would just be considered under IVP Books):
3a. Formatio
“Tradition. Experience. Transformation. Formatio is a line of spiritual formation books from InterVarsity Press. Formatio books take readers on a journey of transformation rooted in a deep desire to live in the presence of God.”
“InterVarsity Press uses the chambered nautilus for Formatio, a symbol of spiritual formation because of its continual spiral journey outward as it moves from its center.”
Remember one of our three core businesses, formación? Exactly.
You can download the formatio brochure here.
3b. Likewise
“We inherit culture. Pop culture, church culture—love or hate it, it’s there. But if you can find a way to think objectively about it, suddenly you have choices to make.
Likewise books are meant to help you make those choices. The good news is that culture adapts and changes. So we can shape what it will be. We can make culture, faithfully. That’s Likewise. Go and do.
The logo? Put simply, we want our books to remind you of Jesus and the stories he told. Having told a parable about a good Samaritan, for instance, Jesus said “go and do likewise.””
