10 weeks

10 weeks

Two days ago we went to the doctor again, and at 10 weeks you could already see the developing limbs from the USG images. It is fascinating, really, to see evolution in ‘real time’, so to speak, where life continues to differentiate and be more complex from day to day, and now it starts to look more like a human or a mammal rather than a fish or a lizard. Ten weeks, indeed, marks the time where the embryo is technically called as fetus from this point onward. We will be meeting the doctor again in two weeks time, where we are going to have scans to screen for Down Syndrome.
