For Mizraim, son of Ham

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” (Martin Luther King Jr.)

There is no sign that the ongoing revolution in Egypt will end soon. Mubarak is defiant and have not resigned yet from his office. Let us pray that it will resume and end in peace. Revolutions which started in blood will usually be bloody aftermath in the long run. Abel’s blood will never stop crying from the ground. In Sub-Saharan Africa (regions which lie south of Sahara), particularly, revolutions usually ended up in yet another corrupt regime. Revolution is not the end; it is actually the beginning of more hard work to be done. Thus, let us pray not only for what happens now, but, more importantly, for what happens next, if, indeed, the old regime in Egypt collapses.
