The sermon is somewhat vintage ISCF. The text is taken from Luke 14, our definitive passage for discipleship. “But there is another, subtler form of misconceiving discipleship as a path of ease. I refer to the unreflective expectation that we all somehow have a right to live a comfortable, tranquil life—that God would never expect any real sacrifice of us.”
