1. If the church is the empirical proof of Jesus (and I believe it is), then I must be a bad scientist, since I keep believing in it despite abundant evidence against it.
(Of course, needless to say there are equally, if not more, abundant evidence for it as well. But sometimes keeping the “already” and the “not yet” in balance is not an easy task, especially if we keep experiencing the “not yet” everyday. Or, worse, if we keep becoming the “not yet” ourselves and inflict others of our anti-Christlikeness.)
2. Must learn to let go and stop thinking about tumor for the rest of the weekend. Gah. Monday will come. Monday will come.
