That the word that was used to describe the basket of Moses was tebah (Exo 2.3). And many people have noted that the only time the word was used again in the Old Testament was to describe the ark of Noah (Gen 6.14). Thus, it was a hint at the beginning of the book of Exodus that Moses would be an agent of YHWH to save his people, like Noah was back then. Noah was saved through the ark (tebah) from the flood, and Moses was saved through the basket (tebah) floating in the water. And later the Israelites would be saved through the water as well (think the type of baptism).
