John the Evangelist heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” (Rev 21.3) The words ‘dwelling place’ (skene) and ‘dwell’ (skenosei), of course, echoed what Apostle John wrote in his Gospel, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt (eskenosen) among us.” (Joh 1.14) Let the reader understand.
