Covenant faithfulness

2 Raj 17.7-23.

Indeed, God is faithful. He can’t annul His own covenant with Israel. And, in the end, He is proven to be right. As apostle Paul says in his epistle to the Romans, God has put forward Jesus the Messiah, through his faithfulness, as a propitiation by his blood, to show God’s covenant faithfulness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. He continues, “It was to show his covenant faithfulness at the present time, so that it is shown that he is right and make right one who has faith in Jesus.” (Rm 3.25-26) When we are put into the right, in the end, actually it reveals that God is righteous; God is just; God is faithful to his own covenant.
